中国法学会世界贸易组织法研究会是中国法学会所属的专门从事世界贸易组织法研究的全国性学术团体，是中国法学会的专业研究会之一。研究会的宗旨是：坚持以马克思列宁主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想为指导，贯彻落实科学发展观，团结和组织全国法学工作者、法律工作者，密切联系我国实际，开展世界贸易组织法的研究，为推进依法治国、建设社会主义法治国家，为我国参与国际贸易规则的制定和发展，为建立国际经济新秩序服务。
世界贸易组织法研究会的主要任务是：推动和组织广大法学、法律工作者学习党的基本理论、基本路线和基本方针，坚持正确的政治方向；推动和组织世界贸易组织法理论和实务的研究，开展学术交流活动，编辑、出版世界贸易组织法研究的成果和有关的信息资料；培养世界贸易组织法研究、教学人才；根据社会需要，开展相关的法律服务；完成中国法学会和有关部门交办的其他工作。
世界贸易组织法研究会于2001年8月29日在北京成立。国务院副总理吴仪同志专门致信祝贺。当时适值我国正式加入世界贸易组织之际，政府、企业和社会各界都迫切需要了解世界贸易组织的规则体系、运作方式，以便制定相应的对策，所以研究会成立之后，迅速举办各种形式的研讨会、座谈会、研讨班，编辑相关的知识读本，积极开展、推动了世界贸易组织法律规则的研究和宣传，同时向中央有关部门提交了相关的意见和建议多件。
本研究会是国内法学、法律界规模最大、覆盖最全、层次最高的世界贸易组织法研究机构，现有理事141人，常务理事71人，分别来自最高人民法院、商务部、国务院法制办、银行系统等部门和清华大学、北京大学、人民大学、中国政法大学、厦门大学、武汉大学、浙江工商大学、对外经济贸易大学、中央财经大学、中国社会科学院等教学研究机构，阵容庞大，研究力量雄厚。
A Short Guide to WTO
Law Research Society of China Law Society
WTO Law Research Society is a nationwide academic institution affiliated to China Law Society, which makes special research on WTO law. The purpose of WTO Law Research Society is, in light of adhering to Marxism, Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of the “Three Represents”, to unite and organize jurists, law practitioners and other far-sighted scholars nationwide to conduct research and academic exchange activities on WTO law by closely integrating with the real conditions of China's socialism modernization, and contribute to the process of running the country by law, exercising the political power according to law and building a socialist country under the rule of law so as to construct a harmonious society.
The primary task of WTO Law Research Society is: to promote the broad jurists and law practitioners to study and carry out the fundamental theory, basic lines and policies of the party so as to raise their political and professional quality and adhere to the correct political orientation; to organize and push ahead the studies of WTO law and conduct academic exchange activities; to edit and publish the fruits of research and relevant information on WTO law; to cultivate the personnel concerned with legal knowledge; to provide legal service in light of social requirements and fulfill other tasks assigned by China Law Society and other relevant organs.
WTO Law Research Society was established on August 29, 2001 in Beijing, that period was just the time of China’s formal accession to the WTO, Wu Yi, Vice-Premier of State Council, wrote a letter to express congratulations specially. The government, the enterprises and the communities urgently needed to understand regular systems and the operation ways of WTO, so as to set down corresponding strategies. Therefore, after the establishment of WTO Law Research Society, it held abundant seminars and symposiums, rapidly edited relevant knowledge textbooks, positively promoted researches and the propagandas of WTO legal rules. At the same time, it also submitted corresponding opinions and suggestions to relevant organs of the central authority.
WTO Law Research Society is the largest WTO law research institution domestically, with most comprehensive coverage and the highest level. The Society has 141 directors and 71 standing directors, coming from the Supreme People's Court, Ministry of Commerce, State Council Legislative Affairs Office, banking industries and Peking University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, Xiamen University, Wuhan University, Zhejiang Gongshang University, University of International Business and Economics, Central University of Finance and Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, etc.
